Our Friesian mares are only bred to approved FPS Friesian Stallions and our Rocky mare will only be bred to a Rocky Mountain Stallion that has been certified to breed.

The term FULL PAPERED refers to a horse that has at least 3 generations of STAR(top 10% of all mares) or MODEL(top 2% of all mares) on the dams side. PREFERENTIAL means that the horse has produced at least four quality offspring which were star, model, approved stallion or a stallion which has reached the second level of a recognized stallion judging. Even if a horse is not full papered does not mean that it is not a purebred Friesian. Full papered horses are just more rare and therefore it is reflected in their price and that of their offspring.
